Sin and Love

Ya know, I was thinking.....

After finding that tomato hornworm, with the wasps on it...I thought about how the wasp larva will eat away on the inside of the worm, until they push their way out of the worm...attach to it as they are in their cocoon.

But first-they eat away part of the worm.  Now the worm continues to live for a short time, because the vital organs are not eaten, but the rest of the worm is.  The worm, is not aware of its life being literally eaten away...until its too late.

This is how it is for us humans.

We just had a relative pass away this last week (on my husbands side) who we know had a history of drinking and doing drugs.  He was our age.  So that is not too old.  That kind of life style, eats away at your insides, as you slowly die.  The person goes on about their life until suddenly-their body can not continue and they die.

Sin is the same way.  It slowly kills us.  Just like the wasp larva for the worm and just like drugs and alcohol does.

Then -if we never make that choice to change, seek the FATHER's forgiveness, we die in our sin.

I for one, am thankful for the BLOOD of Yeshua who covers my sins.
