well, another weekend done. Today is Monday, day # 15 being here. Today we were in the Amish communities. Here is a photo of one of the buggies, I am always interested in the different style of buggies across the country...
this photo below is taken out in front of this Amish couples driveway... very pretty area.
And this one below is of the building in the photo above...but you can see it better here. I really like these old buildings...
My husband likes that show American pickers, where they go around the country and find old antique things. If he could, he was always wanting to be involved with doing antiques.
Then as we headed back into the city of Lynchburg, I took some photos going into town, and thru the town. So the following are as we entered the city-the trains, and then into the down town area...enjoy!
Above are old buildings that they are gonna fix into apartments I understand, there is one they have already begun the work on and It is not in the photo, but they are suppose to be really nice when done.
This is one of the markets...
Store fronts
So we wait...
Babies are born when GOD says they are to be born, but I would like them to all be born in the next 10-11 days...
If I can ask HIM for something, and if your all wondering about a prayer request...that is it.
1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire. 10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
